ProMedica is proud to announce the recipients of the ProMedica Foundation 2022 Philanthropy Awards. These awards are given to individuals, organizations and companies that stand out in the community, or within their places of work, by improving the health and well-being of those around them.

Junior Philanthropists of the Year: Younes Dia, Maytham Dia and Kennah Miller-Stalker
This year’s ProMedica Junior Philanthropists of the Year goes to three children, Younes Dia, Maytham Dia and Kennah Miller-Stalker. Each has turned their grief into giving by helping children through donation drives to benefit the ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital, the Toledo Humane Society and the Lucas County Pit Crew.
Emerging Philanthropist of the Year: Greg and Julie Hillabrand
ProMedica’s Emerging Philanthropists of the Year award was recently bestowed upon Greg and Julie Hillabrand for their generous support of the ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital Hillabrand Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Philanthropist of the Year: Frank Dick
ProMedica’s Philanthropist of the Year award was posthumously awarded to Frank Dick, a health care advocate and community leader in the Lenawee community
Mission Partner of the Year: Hart Associates
ProMedica’s Mission Partner of the Year Award is presented to Hart Associates for their long history of supporting ProMedica and the Toledo community. Mike Hart and his wife Kelly have personally and professionally “shown up” with robust donations of toys, meals for front-line staff support and other acts of kindness and generous contributions that did not go unnoticed.
Philanthropy Champion of the Year: Dr. Nathan Egbert
Dr. Nathan Egbert, ProMedica Physician with Toledo Radiological Associates, was recently recognized as ProMedica’s Philanthropy Champion of the Year for his outstanding advocacy for health care in the Fremont, Ohio, community.
Leslie Vassar was named ProMedica’s Philanthropy Champion of the Year in recognition of her fundraising through the Jim Vassar Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits ProMedica Total Rehab and the American Brain Tumor Association
Volunteer of the Year: Rita Mansour
Rita Mansour was named ProMedica’s Volunteer of the Year at the 2022 ProMedica Philanthropy Awards, acknowledging the exceptional dedication, leadership and generosity that Rita has displayed to the community over the years.
Ebeid Healthy Neighborhood Partner of the Year: Lenawee Community Foundation
This year’s ProMedica Ebeid Healthy Partner of the Year Award is given to the Lenawee Community Foundation for their partnership with ProMedica to help establish the Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise, which will foster economic opportunity and improve health outcomes in Adrian, Michigan.
